mending holiday

I am spending this holiday season at home. It is time I give some love back to my dear clothes and mend all (or at least some) of the rips, tears, holes and unravellings they have. These images tell a loving story of denim workwear from the 1940´s that have been hand stitched, repaired and fixed. Denim (the real 14oz. 100% cotton fabric, not the 10oz. elastane crap) is such an amazing material, that it usually gets better and softer with time, and it can be repaired countless times.
